SOPAS—Society of Portuguese-American Students.

Our Tulare Union and Tulare Western SOPAS has been part of secondary school for about 30 years. Started as the Portuguese Club, we changed to SOPAS in 2002. We are one of the largest student clubs in our school and the largest Portuguese-American Youth organization in Central California.

We have an abundance of activities every month. We promote the Portuguese Culture at our high schools and throughout the community. We also promote the uniqueness of the Portuguese-American experience in Central California .
